Are you available for freelance work?
Currently, yes! I am open to new creative projects and looking for clients to work with on a long term basis. I'd like to build a better product and keep on continuously improving the user experience. Feel free to send me a proposal!
Where is StudioMK currently based?
In fact, I am a digital nomad but I am currently based in South Korea. I grow up in the Netherlands, located in the EU. Hence, I have work permits :) – remote working is becoming more accessible than ever. I am open to adjusting the working time to its time zone. Because communicating is everything.
How did you get started in Product Design?
After studying at the Rotterdam University of Applied Science and graduating with a bachelor's degree in Communication and Multimedia Design, I started my journey as a designer to explore every field possible.
I worked with prints at a marketing agency, but also kept designing digitally. Initially, I was more focused on UI/Visual design crafting digital products. Then shifted my interests in UX as a whole, which landed my first job in Product Design and never stopped since then.
How can I move abroad as designer?
The opportunities are limitless in the present day, especially a big difference before and after the pandemic. The changes for remote working or moving to another country to work as a designer. Many companies will offer to sponsor you via a visa to work for them. To make the big move, you'll need a valid visa for the country you'll be living in. Your available visa options will depend on your country of citizenship. I recommend doing your own online research or contacting an immigration lawyer for advice.
